Description
The Maitake Table is a single geometry repeated at varying scales. Each solid ash tabletop has two straight edges meeting at a 120 degree angle, and one longer, curved edge connecting them. This pattern allows a variety of pieces to tightly interlock while expressing organic curves on the assembly’s perimeter. Arranged collectively, the tables resemble a spontaneous cluster of plants or mushrooms--wild enough to suit a BC forest, yet refined and endlessly modular to complement any modern interior.
Maitake Tables are made to order at Patkau’s Design Lab in Vancouver. For information on purchasing, please write to info@patkau.ca.
